SSFS Sept 3, 2024 In-person Potluck/Hybrid Zoom Meeting. Marisha Auerbach to discuss fruit preservation.

Our next in-person potluck/hybrid Zoom meeting at GRuB will be tomorrow, Tuesday, September 3rd. 
Doors open at 6 pm, business meeting and presentation start at 7pm.


We are pleased to welcome Marisha Auerbach as our speaker.

“The harvest from the Orchard is coming in. Let’s gather together and talk about the multitude of ways to preserve the summer sunshine for our nourishment in the winter.  Marisha will guide us through a discussion on her favorite ways to preserve fruit including canning, drying, fermentation, and freezing.  We will cover these basic techniques and the nuances of conditions that might cause us to choose each one.  There will be samples to share and we invite you to bring some of your homemade concoctions to this seasonal gathering of the fruit club.”
